Mac: Now let’s get this show on the road.
Kitten smiles and claps her hands in excitement to hear what
her mother is going to get from her rich sister.
Karynn turns around to look at Kitten.
Karynn: Don’t get to excited yet tramp. If I get anything
I’m not sharing with you.
Kitten: Oh mother don’t be such a grumpy old bit.
Garrett: I got something that will make you feel good Kary.
Karynn looks at him.
Karynn: There are no words left to describe the filth that
you are.
Karynn than turns around.
Jodie reads a document. She then pulls out white envelopes
with names on them.
Mac: My grandmother wanted this to be a private affair.
The items that were left for you will be written in a letter to you by my
grandmother. She really didn’t want anyone to feud or compare who got what but
she states here in her will that she knew what she was doing. And I want to
start with the first letter. It is addressed to Karynn, my grandmother’s sister.
Karynn: You heard it ladies and gentlemen. Out of my own sister’s
mouth. That there is sure proof I am Katherine’s sister.
Everyone is in shock and mumbles amongst themselves.
Mac: In the event that any of grandma’s long-lost siblings
showed up for a claim this is what she left you. Karynn she had something set
aside for you and great uncle Karl.
Upon hearing her brother’s name Karynn breaks. In a total
state of shock that Katherine even remembered her and that she left her
something in the will for her and her brother. Her heart breaks as she wishes
Karl could be here today to witness this. Karynn is so overcome with emotion
she gets weak and has to sit back down. Esther consoles her.
Esther: It’s ok Karynn. I never doubted for one second that
you were Mrs. C sister.
Karynn: Esther I know but it’s so overwhelming. I feel like
I won the battle. I won the struggle. Good days are finally here for me but I’m
the only one left. Karl has left me. He couldn’t make it here to listen to our
rich sister acknowledge us finally.
Mac clears her throat.
Kitten gets up to go to the podium to grab the envelopes.
Karynn then gets up to stop Kitten.
Karynn: No way litter. You keep your paws off. I told you I ain’t
sharing. You shouldn’t even be here embarrassing me like this in front of these
good folks here.
Karynn slaps her daughter.
Phillip gets up in between the two.
Garret: Stop playing Kary and go get yo money.
Karynn: You should be in some one’s bath tub you dirty
troll.
She rolls her eyes at him and spins her head forward. She now
holds her head high as she walks to the podium to receive the two envelopes
from Mac.
Karynn grabs them and breathes deeply. She clutches them and
takes her seat.
Everyone looks at her wondering what Katherine left for her.
Karynn holds them in her hand, holding them proudly.
Karynn: It’s finally here Essie. Whatever I get I am going
to share with you.
Garrett: And me.
Kitten: Well I want some too.
Karynn begins to unseal her envelope.

Karynn then closes up the envelope before reading its
contents. She walks up and gives Mac a hug.
Kitten looks at Garrett: Why is the old bag stalling?
Garrett: I’m in no hurry. I like this city. Look around at
all these beautiful bunnies. Do you know how much money I can make here in
Genoa City?
Kitten: Well I’m no pimp but I do see big money in Mr.
Newman over there.
Garrett and Kitten looks Victor’s way.
Garrett: Yea I heard about them Newman’s. They are big time money.
Kitten: Gary I think we are in the right place at the right
time.
Garrett: I agree, dollar signs everywhere. And I wanna start
with that one right there.
He says pointing at Esther.
Esther over hears him as she turns to look at Garrets finger
pointing at her. Garrett gives her a wide smile showcasing his one gold tooth.
Esther scoffs and shivers turning her head back around.
Karynn and Mac stop hugging.
Karynn: Now if you don’t mind Mac I’d like to do this on my
own merit. I’m going to grab a glass of wine the most expensive stuff you have,
I can do that I am my sister’s sister after all, and I’m going to celebrate
with her at her grave site here in the back yard.
Mac: I understand. I’m sure grandma would be ok with that.
You both do things so big and over the top. Welcome I should say officially
into the family.
They hug again and Karynn looks at Nina.
Karynn: Nina. Did you hear that darling? I’m part of the
family.
Nina just rolls her eyes at Karynn and looks away.
Karynn grabs Esther’s arm but Mac stops her.
Mac: I’m sorry Karynn, Esther has an envelope to.
Karynn: Believe it Essie. I’m sure after all these years
being her maid you got something nice.
Esther walks up to Mac and gives her a hug.
Mac: Karynn one last thing, your contents I read here, is
time sensitive. So please digest the contents as quickly as you can.
Kitten and Garret both look at each other in bewilderment.
Karynn: Thank you darling. Come Essie let’s do this in
style. Bring a bottle of gin.
Esther follows Karynn.
Kitten: Well what are we waiting for let’s go see what the
old drunken hag is going to get.
Kitten and Garrett get up and rushes out to follow Karynn.
Mac: These next few recipients also have time sensitivity
matters attach to them. Phillip and Chance.
The boys get up and walk up to Mac.
Nina and Jill exchange looks and wonders what the boys got.
Phillip and Chance give Mac a hug then take back their
seats.
Jill to Phillip: Aren’t you going to open it to see what you
got?
Phillip: Not just yet. I’m a bit nervous.
Nina: What did she leave you honey?
Nina says to Chance.
Chance: Woah…
He then looks at his mom.
Chance: I’m sorry but I have to go.
Nina: Honey what is it what is going on?
Chance then leaves.
Nina wonders what is going on, what made Chance run out the
way he did. Then she and Jill both look at Phillip.
Nina: I agree.
Phillip: There you two go again. Pressure. Always telling me
what I should be doing. I’m my own man damn it! He says loudly and then storms
out of the room.
Jill: See what you did Nina you ran him off again.
Nina: You brought it up first Jill. I just happen to agree
with you. We should not be fighting each other we need to find out what’s wrong
with Phillip.
Jill: Well I guess you’re right, something is really wrong
with him.
Mac: Devon.
He gets up to grab his envelope and gives Mac a hug.
Devon: This is time sensitive right.
Mac: It is.
Devon: Ok then Abby and I will head out then and do what
needs to be done.
Mac: In that case see you soon then.
Devon: Frowns, uhm ok then you have some idea of what’s in
here.
Mac: I do.
Devon turns around and takes Abby by the hand leaves the
Chancellor Estate.
Mac: Ok uhm next will be Jack Abbott.
Jack: Never expected Katherine to leave me anything.
Victor: She shouldn’t have that’s for damn sure.
Jack: Got to love the mustache back there.
Victor: Yea well you just better keep that punk body guard
of your close by. Your both punks. You more so than him. Fight me like a man
Jack ass.
Jack: That’s real infatile Victor.
Jack sits down and opens the contents of his envelope. He
muses over it and a slight frown forms on his face.
Mac: Grandma and John Abbott were great friends and Jack
being his son I am sure you will carry things out.
Jack: I will.
Mac: Nikki Newman.
Jill rolls her eyes.
Victor: Give me a break My ex-wife is not cripple. Drunken
yes but she doesn’t need help to the podium.
Jack: Nikki’s driver giving you a little competition there
Victor? You’ve been reduced to competing with a common driver.
Victor smiles.
Victor: I bet you, if your body guard was sitting next to
you Jack, you wouldn’t have so much to say.
Jack: Well It’s a good thing I do then.
Nikki: Oh my goodness.
Chase: Are you ok?
Nikki: Chase we need to go, I have to get out of here.
Jill: Jack pot Nikki. Now going to celebrate with a drink
with your driver. I see how close you two are.
Nikki: Jill just stuff it. You just better hope you got left
something, you are still sitting here aren’t you. I’m not. Tootles. I’ll call
you for brunch so we can compare what Katherine left us.
Victor: I’m watching you sleaze bag.
Victor says now standing and looking at Chase and Nikki.
Nikki: Don’t you start Victor.
Victor: Your still my wife and you are parading around town
with this chump. He’s up to no good Nikki I’m warning you.
Nikki: Really Victor, you were up to no good as well when
you had Billy kidnapped. Shall we go through the list of your crimes that
landed you in jail.
Victor: I don’t give a damn about all that. I’m a free man
now.
Nikki: And a broken man.
Victor: I will put my family back together. Not Jack, or the
law or some damn cdl driver is going to stop me from putting my empire back
together. Nikki you’ve known me long enough to know I mean what I say.
Victor: And you like to be a smart ass too. There’s one
thing you did say. Newman. Mrs. Newman and we are not divorced yet.
Nikki: I will be sure to take care of that. Good bye Victor.
Victor: That driver of yours is hiding something and up to
no damn good and I will get to the bottom of it!
Chase and Nikki leaves.
