198 Mary Carter is having Scotty's Baby!

Lauren is on her knees in the hall way outside of Mary Carter’s room.

She’s crying and is very hysterical.

Lauren: No! Not my Scotty! After all these years Sheila has managed to get her clutches in you again. Oh my god!

Lauren has a flash back of one of her many confrontations with Sheila.

Lauren: She’s a monster!

Scotty shakes his head in disbelief.

Scotty: How could this be happening? Vandalynn lied to me. She set me up.

Daisy looks down at Lauren with a smile.

Daisy: I feel much better now. It  feels so good  knowing I’ve ruined your day and the rest of your life. I wish my mother was here to witness this. She’d be so proud.

Lauren: Go to hell Bitch!

Daisy: Tootles Lauren, until we meet again.

Daisy walks away from Scotty and Lauren.

Lauren looks up at Scotty, wiping the tears from her eyes. Scotty helps his mom stand back on her own two feet.

She looks at him.

Lauren: Scotty how could you do this, how could you let this happen?  You are having a child with Sheila’s Carter daughter. What are we going to do?... This cannot happen… I won’t let it!

Scotty looks at his mom with so much going through his mind like the fact he’s going to be a father.

 Phyllis take s a seat besides Avery’s bed as the nurse finishes  cleaning up Avery’s wounds.

Avery: I heard someone sit down.

Phyllis: It’s me sis. I came to see you off.

Victor then walks into the room.

Phyllis: They say when one of your sense gives out your others are more active or something like that. Do you sense a dark force in the room Avery?

Avery: Not really.

Phyllis: Victor is here.

Avery: Victor it’s nice to se- well It’s good that you are here.

Victor: I don’t want to interrupt sister bonding but-

Phyllis cuts Victor off.

Phyllis: Yes you did otherwise you wouldn’t be here!

Victor looks at Phyllis.

Victor: Upset Phyllis?

Phyllis: Just leave, your turning this into something it should not be. I’m trying to see my sister off and here you are darkening things up.

Victor: Have you seen Nick or your good friend Lauren? It was nice seeing them together the other night at Gina’s. They look good together.

Phyllis: You bastard!

Avery: I don’t understand what is going here? Nick,…Lauren?

Victor: Phyllis here is upset that Nick and Lauren are dating.

Phyllis: Ridiculous. I don’t have time for this.

Victor: Anyway, Avery I too came to see you off. You were always loyal to me and I appreciate that. I thank you for what you did for me at my trial.

Avery: It hurt many people Victor. What I did for you is not one of the proudest moments of my career. The stress of it led me to lose control of myself. I had an affair with Cane and we were snorting coke.

Victor: I’m very sorry about that. If there is anything you may ever need you can count on me.

Phyllis: Just don’t ask for any money. Victor is broke as a joke.

Phyllis smiles at Victor knowing she hit him wear it hurts.

Victor nods.

Victor: I’ll tell Nick and Lauren you said hi.

Phyllis: Yea you do that Victor. So nice of you to stop bye!!

Victor turns around and leaves running into Daisy as he does.

Daisy: Hello Mr. Newman. Good to see you out of jail.

Victor: You to young Carter.

Victor smiles and leaves.

Chicago Ill, Nursing Home

Nina walks over towards Karynn and Esther who are still sitting across from Karl’s now empty cold room. Karynn wipes her eyes as she looks up and sees Nina.

Karynn: I don’t want any pity from you chubby.

Nina: Even through mourning you’re still a sour person.

Karynn: Oh yea, well get ready because I have more of that where that came from.

Nina looks at Esther.

Esther: I can tell something is wrong, what is it Nina?

Nina: Just got bad news from GC.

Esther: Bad news, what could be worse than Katherine’s brother Karl dying?

Nina: Mac called me.

Esther: Mackenzie?

Karynn: I remember her. She was so nice to me and especially Karl. Karl was very smitten with her. Mac welcomed us with open arms when we arrived in GC as you guys call it.

Esther: Bad news surrounding Mac, oh my.

Nina: It’s her father Brock. He’s been killed in an air plane crash.

Esther screams out and stands up covering her mouth with her hand as she is in shock.

Karynn: Poor girl. I know how it is to lose a loved one. First Katherine and now Karl. Brock would have been my nephew.

Esther: All of Mrs. C’s kids are dead. First Tucker now Brock.

Nina: We need to get back, to be there for her. Oh, and since Brock has passed on, Mac is the new executor of Katherine’s will and it’s going to be read as soon as we get back. I guess Chancellor Inc is having management issues and there are instruction for C.I. in the will.

This excites Karynn and she stands up, as Garret walks over to her with a beer.

Karynn: This means it’s time to collect what’s owed to me.

Nina: Is that all you ever think about, other people’s money?

Karynn: No Nina I was actually thinking of getting you a gift certificate to weight watchers. They can even eat chips on that diet or so I heard Oprah say the many times I’ve seen that commercial. How’s that pudgy?

Nina: What a rotten bitch you are! If you are not in my car in the next ten minutes you’ll be left here. Nina turns around and storms off with Chance following her.

Karynn looks at Garrett and grabs her beer.

Esther: Miss Shepard, you’re not going to open that right here and, now are you?

Karynn pulls up on the tab and opens the can. She takes a swig.

Karynn: This mourning has turned into a celebration Esther. I’m about to finally get what is owed to me from my sister’s estate.

 Karynn swings the can of beer around and some spills onto the floor.

Karynn looks at Garret.

Karynn: Thank you for everything Garrett. I must be moving on.

Garett: I want some of the estate too.

Karynn: In your dreams.

Karynn turns around grabs Esther and they leave the nursing home as Garrett stares at them.

Karynn walks right past her daughter Kitten without even saying good bye.

Kitten puts her paper work down and walks over to Garrett.

Kitten: Garret, what happened?

Garrett: Your mother is about to come into some big money.

Kitten: Ooo.. I like big money.

Garret: You also like big black-

Kitten: I’m at work Garrett. Everyone doesn’t need to know my sexual secrets.

Garrett: Sorry darling.

Kitten: I want some money too. I am so tired of wiping ass and crotches.

Garret: I could use some new clothes. Hell for that matter I can finally wash my clothes.

Kitten: My mother doesn’t like either one of us how will we get her to give us a slice of the pie?

Garrett: Good point… I was just gonna harass, beg, plead and if I have to cry until I get on her nerves so much she’ll be offering me money to leave town. I know how Kary is. Eventually she’ll cave.

Kitten: Hmm but what about me? We can’t stand each other.

Garrett: Yea after what we did to her. We had an affair and she walked in on us doing the good nasty.

Kitten: I got it. Karynn left so she hasn’t had time to grab uncle Karl’s ashes. Leave that to me to make that a great ice breaker for when I arrive in Genoa City.

Kitten takes her name tag off and throws it on the floor. She pushes up her bosom’s and begins to leave her job for the last time.

Kitten: Let’s go Gary, it’s time to collect some money. I can’t do this whole drive by myself.

A nurse has been watching Kitten.

Nurse: You can’t just walk out on your shift like this?

Kitten: Watch me…

Back in GC, Hospital

Daisy looks in Avery’s room and sees Phyllis.

“I’ll stick to it Phyllis one more time.”

She thinks to herself.

 She enters.

Phyllis looks up and is pissed Daisy is there.

Phyllis: This is another time where I need you to use your other senses Avery.

Avery: I’m sorry Phyllis I don’t know what that means.

Phyllis: The devil is here.

Daisy: Oh just stop being so over the top Phyllis. Your too told to be acting this way you’re a grandmother, act like one.

Avery: Daisy, It’s good to hear your voice. How has everything been for you?

Daisy: It would be a lot better if your bitter sister would get out the way.

Phyllis: How many times do I have to say to you, you will never be with my son or his daughter?

Daisy: Lucy is my daughter too!

Avery: Enough, I’ve had enough drama for one day. I want my last moments here in Genoa City to be peaceful. Besides I’m getting a headache. Lily sure did a number on me.

Phyllis: Yea well that’s all the Winters women know how to do is attack.

Daisy: Like Dru attacked you Phyllis. I saw the fight between you two at the hospital the night Dru came back from the dead and returned to Genoa City. Your film crew taped the whole thing as Dru beat you down. I bet you were embarrassed the whole city saw Dru handing you your ass at the hospital that night. You came to film the Verdon Lou story then you ended up being the story.

Phyllis: I’d like to take this chair and beat you with it.

Daisy: That’s what you should have done to Dru, but anyway Avery thank you for all you done for me. Getting me out of jail and all.

Phyllis: A tragic mistake.

Daisy: You take care of yourself.

Avery: You too Daisy thank you.

Daisy looks at Phyllis and waves good bye. Phyllis gives her a contemptuous look and then raises her middle finger at Daisy. Daisy chuckles and leaves.

Phyllis: The only thing I wanted to do was to see you off.

Avery: Well thank you Phyllis.

Phyllis leans over and gives her a hug.

The transporter arrives, ready to take Avery to Dallas, Texas so she can attend drug rehab and the school for the blind.

Avery is assisted in the wheel chair and the transporter pushes Avery out the room.

Phyllis: So long Avery.

Phyllis walks out the now empty room. She looks to her right and left and on her left, she can see Lauren is visibly upset in an intense conversation with Scotty.

“ Daniel was watching them too.” Phyllis wonders if she should walk over there to find out what is going on."

Phyllis walks over to them and over hears Lauren saying

“ You will never have a child by a Carter!”

Scotty: Mom how can you stop this?

Lauren: Just watch me. Sheila will not win! Not through her children or mine. She tried once before to take you away from me it didn’t work then and it’s not going to work now!

Phyllis: Scotty got a Carter pregnant?

Lauren turns around and sees Phyllis. Her mood changes from anger to apprehensiveness.

Lauren: Phyllis, I thought you were upset with me. You have some secret you wanted to tell me but won’t because I had a date with Nick.

Phyllis: Yes the father of my child… My best friend had a date with my ex-husband. I’m not supposed to be upset about something like that? Besides back to you, which Carter did Scotty get pregnant? That Vandalynn girl is Mary Carter isn’t she?

Scotty:  Yes but we didn’t know. I didn’t even know.

Phyllis: I feel for you. Daniel has a very hard time dealing with her sister Daisy. In fact, Daisy is becoming more and more like her mother by each passing day. I wonder if Daisy was in on this fake Vandalynn person scam.

Lauren: I’m not going to have nor my son for that matter will have the same issues you and Daniel have because I am not going to let this happen!

Scotty opens Mary’s door but sees the room is empty having been remade for a new patient.

Scotty: She’s not here.

Lauren: Ok so the only question now, Where is Mary Carter?
