186: Roxanne's Cry for HELP!

 City Jail
Roxanne and Devon sit across from one another.

Roxanne: Devon I really need your help. I have no one else to turn to.
Devon: After you had an emotional affair with my cousin Nate now you want my help? You played me for a fool for months and now you want me to help you.
Roxanne: Devon I am very sorry for hurting you. I did love you.
Devon: Then why did you run to the arms of another man?
Roxanne: I just became so attracted to Nate. We became good friends and over time I became attracted to him.  He  told me about what he did regarding Moses paternity.
Devon: And all that time you didn’t tell me or anyone the truth about who Moses real father was. It could have saved my dad from being shot point blank in the chest by how own brother. Your beloved Nate was mowed down by Malcolm’s car due to the truth coming out. If you would have just said something just maybe all of this could have been prevented.
Roxanne: Devon I’m sorry. I thought I was helping Nate. I was that person he could talk too. He felt very guilty over it for months.
Devon: That guilt didn’t prevent Malcolm from shooting his own brother in the chest. Now Moses is gone and we have no idea where they are according to Paul. But yet here you sit and ask me for help.
Roxanne: You’re making feel  like shit.
Devon: Good! After what you did to me and my family you should. I had a feeling when you called you wanted me to bail you out so I took the-
Roxanne: No Devon the bail money isn’t the issue. It’s the anger management class. I’m not feeling that. I’m not angry.
Devon: Before I was cut off, thank you by the way for that, I was going to say there is nothing I can do for you Roxanne. You must take that anger management class, the judge is holding firm on that.
Roxanne: But you are a Chancellor. Surely that name can make something happen.
Devon: You’re really starting to disgust me Roxanne.  You attack the woman that wants to be with Nate, Hillary had a thing with him in college when all the time you had a good man in your corner. Now you have Nate, who is in a body cast I might add.
Roxanne: Thanks for your help Devon.

She rolls her eyes at him and gets up to let the guard know she is ready to go back to her cell.

Devon: Roxanne there really isn’t anything I can do. You must take that class.
Roxanne: Yea sure Devon, whatever,… I want you to know that Nate and I never slept together. I did that for you.
Devon: Why though? You seemed to have done everything else with him. Why stop at sex for me?
Roxanne: I respected you and could not hurt you that way. The only thing I did was lust for Nate. No sex.
Devon: But hugging and kissing him though right?
Roxanne: Sometimes.
Devon: They say every dog has their day.
Roxanne: Excuse me? I know you just didn’t call me a dog!
Devon: Get the help you need Roxanne. And please don’t call me for help in the future. The answer will be no.
Roxanne: Go to hell Devon!
Devon: Go to anger management class Roxanne.

Devon leaves the room in frustration.
Roxanne is escorted back to her cell she’s now sharing with Sister Patterson. Tears roll down her face.

Spencer’s Apt

Leslie and Spencer continue their conversation about Roxanne.

Leslie: The only thing I want to do is help our daughter.
Spencer: Roxanne won’t let us.
Leslie: Well I really do think she needs that anger management class. She is an angry young woman.
Spencer: Her anger stems from us being her parents. She’s embarrassed and disappointed. She blames us for ruining her budding singing career.
Leslie: How do you know all of this?
Spencer: Roxanne expressed all of this when I just came from down there trying to let her know you will pay her bail as long as she takes those classes. But she is so focused on Nate.
Leslie: Do you think it’s an obsession?
Spencer: No, she just loves him but he got her half-sister pregnant.
Leslie: A mess.
Spencer: I agree. Listen I have to get going to work now. Gina said the place is booked solid.
Leslie: Thank you for trying Spencer.
Spencer: By the way, you mentioned you’re with Neil now?
Leslie: Yes and what of it?
Spencer: I don’t understand how you can be with a man who is in a coma and from what I hear may not be able to walk. I got three legs Les. You know this.
Leslie: Three?
Spencer: You know which one I’m talking about. The one that hangs down to my knee caps.
Leslie: You wish. Bye Spencer. I’ll tell Neil you send your best. After I meet with Rafe about Roxanne that’s where I’m headed next.

Leslie leaves his apartment.

Spencer: I need some action and soon.

Spencer grabs his chef hat and leaves his place to get to work.

Devon and Abby pull up to Gina’s Italian Bistro, Devon puts the car in park.
Abby looks at him and can sense he is upset about something.

Abby: You haven’t said a word since you picked me up. Was it Roxanne?
Devon: To be honest I don’t want to talk about Roxanne. I should have never went over there to see her.
Abby: I’m very sorry to hear that. Let’s just go inside and have a great meal and talk. In fact I set up a little surprise for you.

Devon looks at her, smile forming on his face.

Devon: A surprise for me?
Abby: Yes. Something I think will cheer you up.
Devon: I appreciate that.

He leans in and gives her a peck on the lips. They get out Devon’s white Beemer and walk inside Gina’s.

GC Memorial Hospital, Olivia’s office
Olivia takes a seat behind her desk, picks up the phone and dials some numbers. On the other end she hears:

“Hello?”
Olivia: Dru it’s me Liv. I have some great news.
Dru: Is it about Neil?
Olivia: No I’m sorry. I have not heard much on Neil. It’s about Nathan.
Dru: What about my nephew? I could use some good news, it’s been so depressive here with Lily and the twins missing.
Olivia: That’s why I called, I figured this family could use some good news.
Dru: Well spit it out girl, I ain’t got all day my stories about to come on.
Olivia: Nate is coming out his coma
Dru: Liv that’s wonderful.
Olivia: I figure you would come over to the hospital, and bring Lily, maybe this will take her mind off her twins.
Dru: Maybe. I know I for one need a change of atmosphere and I want to check on Neil.
Olivia: Ok I’ll go tell Nate  I have a surprise for him. He does not know you are alive and all that good stuff.
Dru: Neil doesn’t either. Maybe if he hears my voice, it may be what he needs to wake from his coma.
Olivia: A great idea. Hillary did the same thing with Nate.
Dru: Girl I’ve been gone for awhile I don’t know a Hillary.
Olivia chuckles: Get over here sis and I’ll fill you in.

They hang up.

 Brentwood Park
Leslie and Rafe walk around the park on this hot, sunny, late summer day.

Rafe: It’s a beautiful day.
Leslie: It is. I am so glad summer is almost over with. I can’t stand this heat. Sweats out my hair.
Rafe: I don’t know anything about that.
Leslie: You’re right. It’s a black woman’s thang.
Rafe: So what’s up, I was working on Victoria’s custody case when you called and said you wanted to talk.
Leslie: Thank you for meeting me. I’m just so confused about Roxanne.
Rafe: Did she take that anger management class yet?
Leslie: That’s just it she refuses to. Spencer and I really think she needs too. My daughter needs help she’s an angry person.
Rafe: Without taking that class Les, the judge will not agree to let her out of jail.
Leslie: I hate that she is locked up like this.
Rafe: Les, you didn’t attack Hillary, Roxanne did. She did this to herself. Maybe this is why she needs anger management. This is their 2nd altercation in as little as a few weeks. Roxanne is lucky Hillary didn’t file assault charges at that time because this would have been Roxanne’s second strike.
Les: I know Rafe, you’re right. I just don’t know what to do in order to reach her. Convince her of taking these classes.
Rafe: Sometimes you got to play hard ball. I’m sure when Roxanne is tired of being in a cell, she’ll cave and take those classes.
Les: I guess you are right. Being a mother is so new to me. I don’t know to go about doing this job.
Rafe: You’ll get it. And you are trying, I do see that. By the way how is Neil?
Les: I am on my way to see him now. I hope he is a woke from his coma. We are just waiting for Dr. Whitfield to tell us how much damage the bullet did to Neil.
Rafe: Good luck and it was good seeing you friend.

They hug.

Leslie: I’m glad we remained friends after that whole ordeal with Victor’s trial.
Rafe: Me too. Drinks soon? We haven’t been out in a while.
Leslie: Sounds good
Rafe: Give Neil my regards.
Leslie: I will. Thanks again for the talk.

Rafe smiles at her as Leslie walks back to her car with thoughts of how Neil is doing at the hospital.

Lauren walks into Gina’s. Gina greets her.

Gina: Lauren it’s so nice to see you. You’re looking lovely as ever.
Lauren: Thank you Gina. You’re so sweet.
Gina: I didn’t recall seeing yours or Michael's name on the reservation list tonight.
Lauren: Oh, I won’t be dining with Michael tonight.
Gina: Oh,… well..
“She’ll be dining with me tonight Gina. The reservations I made earlier are for me and Lauren.”

Nick says walking out from behind Lauren.

Gina: Oh…

There is a moment of awkward silence as Gina takes in the scene of Lauren and Nick together. Gina wants to pry and ask questions but she remembers she’s running a business and would be improper in asking the duo what is going on between the two.

Gina: I’m sorry, right this way.

Lauren smiles at Nick as they then follow Gina to their table.

Across the way, Abby, sitting with Devon notices her half-brother Nick with Lauren.

Abby: Oh my gosh.
Devon: What’s the matter Abby?
Abby: Nick is here.
Devon: Ok and?
Abby: He’s here with Lauren.
Devon: Strange, are they dating now?

Dru with her arms around Lily walk into the hospital.

Dru: I know you didn’t feel like coming out but some of this fresh spring air will do you some good. And it will be good to be around family.
Lily: Mom I just want to find my kids.
Dru: I know Lily Belle. Paul has every man available on it. Later we are going to go out and put up flyers. We are being productive baby girl. We are going to find those twins.

They enter Nate’s room. Olivia smiles as she sees Dru.

Olivia: I’m so glad you here. It’s still kind of hard to believe you are back.
Dru: Yes I am thankful.

Olivia gives Lily a hug.

Olivia: I’m not going to ask how you are doing. I will say though Lily we are praying every day for the safe return of your twins.
Lily: Thank you.

Lily takes a seat next to Hillary.

Olivia: Let’s go outside so we can talk.
Dru: Ok girl.

Olivia turns to look at Lily and Hillary.

Olivia: We’ll be right outside.

Olivia and Dru enter the hall way.
Dru gives her sister another hug.

Dru: I’m so happy for you girl. Your son is coming around.
Olivia: Yes God has answered my prayers. I’m so thankful he is alive. And you are too. It’s so wonderful having you back.

Olivia gives Dru another hug as Dru hugs Olivia, she spots a woman walking into Neil’s room.

Dru: Liv who is that? I seen her here hanging around the night I came back.
Liv: Who?
Dru: The woman who just walked into Neil’s room.

Dru drags Olivia towards Neil’s room so Olivia can look through the window in the door to see which woman has just walked into Neil’s room.
Olivia looks in the window and can see Leslie holding Neil’s hand.

Dru: Now she holding my husband’s hand. What is going on Liv?

Olivia hesitates in telling Dru that Leslie is Neil’s girlfriend. She knows Dru will have a very strong and negative reaction.

Dru: Tell me Liv, who is that women holding my husband’s hand?

Post your thoughts below. Thank you for reading!

185: Roxanne learns Hillary is having Nate's Child!

City Jail

Roxanne wipes the tears of pain streaming down her face as she revels in the fact that the man she loves has gotten her half sister Hillary else pregnant.

Spencer: Roxanne I’m sorry I have to tell you this way. This fighting has got to stop though with you and your half-sister. Look at you, it landed you in jail.

Roxanne turns around and looks at him.

Roxanne: Was this the good news you wanted to share with me?
Spencer: Actually no.-
Roxanne: Get the hell out Spencer. Get out of here and never come back! I’ll find my own way outta here and it won’t be through anger management. I am not angry damn it. GET OUT SPENCER!

A guard comes in after hearing Roxanne yell and Roxanne asks to be taken back to her cell.
Spencer looks down in frustration. He then gets up and leaves.
Roxanne is put in a cell with Sister Patterson.
Roxanne lays on her cot trying to fight back tears heart broken that Hillary is having Nate’s child.
Sister Patterson stares at her. Roxanne can feel the Sisters eyes piercing through her and looks at her.
Roxanne sits up.

Roxanne: What in the hell are you looking at old ass lady?
Sister Patterson: I ought to slap the mess out ya. How dare you speak to me like that? Don’t you know no good?
Roxanne: How dare you stare at me like that? I don’t swing that way.
Sister Patterson: I only swing God’s way. I don’t know what foolishness you’re talking. The reason I’m staring at you is because of your mother.
Roxanne: What about Leslie?
Sister Patterson: You’re her daughter.
Roxanne: And?
Sister Patterson: Your mother is a sinning slut and I despise that evil doer.
Roxanne: Ok. And you have a terrible wig that doesn’t even fit your forehead but I’m not making a big deal out of it.
Sister Patterson: You’re a rotten person just like your trifling ass mother. Like mother like daughter. She was a whore and you seem to be one to.
Roxanne: Say what now?

Roxanne says now sitting up on her cot.

Sister Patterson: You heard me whore. Should I ask the guard for some q tips for your ears? You had an affair with Brother Nathan while you were with that handsome Devon. That’s a whore in the bible. You see,… you get all that nastiness from your nasty ass mother.
Roxanne: I really ought to beat the hell out of you old lady. So saintly and quick to pass judgement but here we are together in a jail cell.
Sister Patterson: I was doing the work of the Lord. I had to slap the slut out of your mother.
Roxanne: I’m going to advise you to leave me and my mother alone. You have no idea about us. And I never slept with Nate you nosey bat. You need to put more attention into a new wig that covers up more of that big forehead you got. You don’t know me like that.
Sister Patterson: You’re a whore like your mother and that’s all I need to know. You also just defended your mother Roxanne.

Roxanne realizes the dirty mouthed sister is right. For the first time since Roxanne found out that Leslie was her mother this is the first time she went to bat for her.

Roxanne: Guard!

Roxanne calls out. She stands up. And calls out for a guard again. A guard approaches her cell.

Guard: Yes?
Roxanne: I need to make a phone call. I have to get out of here before this old lady in here drives me crazy.
Guard: You aren’t getting out of here unless you complete an anger management class as the judge so ordered.
Sister Patterson chimes in: If my mother was a hooker walking the track, I’d be an angry young woman too.
Guard: And you Miss Patterson won’t be released until you complete your court ordered mental evaluation.
Roxanne: Yes she def gone need a few of those. Bitch is cray’. That old wig is too tight or I think it’s all that fore head. She don’t got enough blood and oxygen going to that big ass head of hers. She talking to me crazy and she lucky I don’t whoop her old ass and then use her as a broom since she is looking so dusty any damn way. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

Roxanne turns around and looks at a scornful Sister Patterson.

Sister Patterson: No one has ever talked to me like that! You’re a demon. Demon child! How dare you say those evil things to an agent of God!

The guard opens the cell and escorts Roxanne to the pay phone.

Brownstone Apartments
Lauren knocks on Scotty’s door. No answer.

Lauren: Come on Scotty we have to talk about your child on the way and the real identity of the mother of this child.

Still no answer.  She knocks again.

Lauren: Come on Scotty I know you’re in there!

She continues to knock only this time putting more aggressive into it.

Lauren: You’ll have to see me at some point and we are going to talk about this Vandalynn person. You better pray to God she’s not Sheila’s daughter.

Lauren then gets a text in her phone. She opens her flip case cover and sees it’s from Nick.

                “Dinner and wine?”

Lauren: That’s exactly what I need right now after this stressful day.
Nick text back: Meet me at Gina’s in lets say an hour.
Lauren replies: Sounds good J
Lauren: This will be nice, I haven’t been out in a while.

She goes to her bed room and looks for some evening yet casual wear.

At Genoa City Memorial.
Hillary and Olivia are seated, talking to each other.

Olivia: I’m going to be a grandmother. Oh Hillary this is such wonderful news considering all the tragedies this family has suffered lately. From my son, to Neil but at least we got my sister Dru back which I still find so crazy not to mention Cane sold Lily’s kids for drugs. It’s so unbelievable.
Hillary: I do hope things get better. Seems to be a lot of drama in this family and I don’t want to bring Nathan’s and my baby up around all of that.

Olivia leans over and gives her a hug.

Olivia: I assure you we will keep this child safe. We just need to get Nathan out of this coma.
Hillary: I do hope the baby news provides just that.
Olivia: I just can’t believe Nathan held this dark secret for so long. I knew something was bothering him and I asked him a few times but he insisted he was fine. This is going to have far reaching ramifications for his career.
Hillary: What do you mean?
Olivia: The Board of Health is going to recommend disciplinary action against Nate. Including and up to termination, black listed and maybe even criminal charges. They’re even investigating me and threatening my job here as chief of staff.
Hillary: I’m so sorry to hear Mrs. Winters.
Olivia: A job is nothing compared to my sons life. I’m thankful I still have him here.
Hillary: I am thankful too. I love him so much. I feel so bad this has happened to him.
Olivia: I am just having such a hard time dealing with the fact that my son switched Moses paternity test from Malcolm to Neil. I never knew Nathan had that much hate for Malcolm. At one time Malcolm and I were together and he was so great with Nate. Especially after his father died. That was such a hard time for us. Dealing with the HIV scare. It was a crazy time.
Hillary: HIV?
Olivia: Oh that’s a story for another time trust me. Listen why don’t you go whisper the news in Nate’s ear. Maybe he’ll wake up.
Hillary: Ok sounds good.

Hillary gets up and walks over to Nate taking in the sight of him being in a body cast.  She feels guilty as flashes of giving Malcolm the recording of Nate confessing the paternity test results run through her mind.
She leans down close to his ear.

Hillary: Nathan baby, it’s me Hillary. I’m pregnant, I’m having your baby, and you’re going to be a father. Please wake up so we can celebrate the news.

Olivia stands behind Hillary and puts her hands on her shoulder to comfort her and they both look over Nate and pray he as a reaction, enough so that he awakes from his coma.

No Name Tower, 24th floor House of Kem
Mason walks into Keemo’s office. Keemo is busy on his lap top looking over resumes of designers.

Mason: Always working sir.
Keemo: Gotta get this fashion house up and running. I want a huge start. I only want the best. Jack still doesn’t know I am doing this.
Mason: He’s not going to be happy when he finds out.
Keemo: My father thinks he’s on top of the world but soon it will all come crashing down.
Mason: You mean with the help of Mr. Newman.
Keemo: I can’t get into that Mason. I’m always a man with a plan. Just know HOK will be in good hands we have nothing to worry about. And remember you’re my right hand so in the morning I’d like your assistance in sorting these resumes.
Mason: No problem Mr. Abbott. It’s about time for me to get to my other job.
Keemo: I’m very sorry Mason that you have to work a second job. I assure you once HOK debuts and this money starts rolling in, you won’t need to work two jobs.
Mason: I look forward to that day Mr. Abbott. I have a lot of bills and a family I’m taking care of. Is there anything else you need before I leave?
Keemo smiles at Mason: Have a good night sir.
Mason: Thank you. In the morning then…

Mason walks out.

Keemo ponders Mason’s last statement. He said family. Keemo didn’t realize Mason had a wife and children to take care of. Mason never mentioned a family until this evening. His thoughts are interrupted when he sees a woman walk into his office in his peripheral view. He focuses in and sees Gloria. He immediately stands.

Keemo: Glo.
Gloria: I’m sorry I haven’t answered your calls or text.
Keemo: I’m glad that you are here.

He says as he walks over to her and grabs her right hand and kisses it.

Gloria: You’re so sweet Keemo.
Keemo: I’ve missed you Gloria.
Gloria: I’m sorry for pushing you away. I had a lot to think about and sort through.
Keemo: And now?
Gloria: I think we should talk Keemo.
Keemo: I’m fine with that only under one condition.
Gloria: I suppose since I feel I need to make my absence up to you. What is it handsome?

Keemo smiles as he thinks he knows what she is going to say to him, that she is finally ready to be with him. And if she says yes to his next question then it will confirm to him they are on the right path.

Keemo: Can we talk over dinner? Let’s say Gina’s? Right now I am starving and I could use a glass of wine.
Gloria: That sounds ok. I just hope there are not too many people there.
Keemo: And hear I thought we were getting somewhere. You still don’t want to be seen with me in public?
Gloria: This is a lot for me to deal with. Let’s just go have diner and a glass of wine to take the edge off.
Keemo: Back on the right track then.

Keemo extends his hand towards the door signaling her to leave as he follows.
Keemo has a grin on his face as he leaves with Gloria from No Name Tower. He can only hope that she will finally accept his marriage proposal tonight…finally!

City Jail
Roxanne is back in the meeting room. She is tapping her leg on the floor as she feels a bit nervous. She is anxious for the person she called to arrive.

Roxanne: This is my last hope.

The door opens and Devon walks in.
Roxanne smiles and gets up and wraps her arms around him. Devon is surprised at the gesture but does not wrap his arms back around Roxanne. Roxanne gets the point and her smile fades as she pulls back from Devon.

Roxanne: Thank you for coming down here Devon.
Devon: I am surprised you called. I was on my way to have dinner with Abby.

Roxanne’s half smile disappears.

Roxanne: Oh, well my apologies for interrupting that.
Devon: You sounded frantic on the phone Roxanne. Why did you want to see me?
Roxanne: Devon I need your help.

Meanwhile, Spencer’s Apt.
Spencer opens his door to find Leslie on the other side. He smiles at her. She enters and can see he is half dressed, boxers on with a pair of black socks and he is trying to button up his shirt.

Leslie: The next time you answer the door I’m going to need you to be fully clothed.
Spencer: Girl why? It’s not anything here on me you haven’t seen before. In fact you used to like it.
Leslie: Enough, I’m with Neil. Now what happened with Roxanne?
Spencer: I got to make this fast, Gina called me in early, we have a full house tonight.
Leslie: Ok and about Roxanne?
Spencer: I was unable to even let her know that you are willing to put up her bail after she completes that anger management class.
Leslie: Why?
Spencer: I made things worse by telling her she had to give up this war with her half-sister because Hillary is pregnant with Nathan’s baby.
Leslie: I bet she didn’t take that well.
Spencer: Not at all.
Leslie: I don’t know what to do for her or with her. I simply don’t know.

At the Hospital
Hillary and Olivia continue to await a response from Nate. Hillary leans back down towards Nate’s ear and whispers: You’re going to be a father Nate.”
Olivia notices Nate’s heart rate increasing.

Olivia: My God, Hillary I think its working.
Hillary: I can hear his voice he’s trying to say something.
Olivia: I’m here Nate. You’re safe and ok. Are you in pain? I’m going to get the doctor.

Olivia leaves the room. Hillary gets closer to Nate.

Hillary: Come back to me Nate, we are going to have a baby.
Nate grumbles. But he finally manages to get something out. “Roxanne” He says.

Hillary is stunned and devastated. She stands back from Nate a bit realizing that Nate may just love Roxanne more than her.

Nate: Roxanne…

184: Keemo helps Victor fight Jack!

Genoa City Memorial Hospital.

Hillary walks into Nate’s room and sees Olivia with her head laying upon Nate’s chest. It’s hard to take in the sight of Nate hemmed up in a body cast knowing she played a significant role in making that happen. The guilt is so much a tear forms in her eye.

Olivia: Nathan, I need you to wake up from this coma. Son please I love you. I can’t live with you like this.

Olivia sits up and wipes the tears coming from her eyes and also  takes a tissue to wipe her nose since every time she wells up her nose begins to run. She sees Hillary and then stands up.

Olivia: Hillary right?

Hillary gives a faint smile.

Hillary: Yes Mrs. Hastings.

Hillary extends her hand out to shake with Olivia’s.

Olivia: I didn’t hear you come in. I’m sorry you have to see me like this.
Hillary: No your fine. I came to check up on Nathan. What are the doctors saying?
Olivia: Dr. Whitfield says the swelling in Nate’s brain has subsided. He’s been easing Nate  out of the  coma induced by medication.
Hillary: That’s so great. So that means he could be waking up soon?
Olivia: That is the prognosis. Then there is what’s underneath the cast. He has broken arms, legs and possible spinal injury. It’s too soon to tell.
Hillary: One step at a time… I came here to give Nate some hope.
Olivia: Oh…?

Hillary rubs her stomach.

Hillary: Nathan and I are having a baby.

Olivia looks in shock.

Olivia: A child? You and Nathan?
Hillary: That’s right. I came to tell Nathan, maybe if he heard the news it would give him the will to wake up.
Olivia: I just had no idea that my son was dating any one.
Hillary: Well I’ve only been in town a few months. Nate and I were together in college but I had to leave to care for my dying mother.
Olivia: I’m sorry to hear that. I must say I’m sorry because Nate never mentioned a Hillary. The only woman I know about being in his life is Roxanne. And I only found that out at Lily’s homecoming party. When my son admitted to having feelings for Roxanne. I had no idea this was all going on.
Hillary: It’s a complicated situation.

She says as she has a flashback of hiding in Roxanne’s apartment and then recording the conversation she overheard with Nate and Roxanne where they confess their feelings for one another.

Olivia: I take it there is no love lost between you and Roxanne. I saw the altercation you had with her in the emergency room.
Hillary: My half-sister is a waste of air that other people could be using to do good things with.
Olivia: Oh wow. This is complicated.  A pair of sisters fighting over my son.
Hillary: There is no fight Mrs. Hastings…Complicated, yes I can give you that but a fight, well If you want to call it that, let’s say I won, I am having your grandchild. A baby trumps everything else.

Hillary says with a smile rubbing her stomach.

City Jail
Spencer waits in a room that Roxanne walks into.

Spencer: Finally. I’ve waited 30 minutes here in this holding room to see you.
Roxanne: You are here to bail me out?
Spencer: Well you know I’ve fallen on hard times. I work as a cook at Gina’s and I don’t have that kind of money. They took my car and house so I now take the bus and rent.
Roxanne: Some father I have. Went from a pimp to being a district attorney and now to being a broke bum.
Spencer: Really?
Roxanne: I need help and my father is unable to be here for me. I bet you would help that tramp Hillary.
Spencer: I am doing the best I can. No one asked you to attack your half-sister and over what? A man? Nate? I told you two before, you know when you two lionesses had your first encounter at my damn apartment breaking down my door that no man is worth fighting over. My landlord was not happy with having to replace the door. I don’t have the money to keep replacing doors or paying bails. I also got quite a few noise complaints behind all that.
Roxanne: If you are not here to bail me out then why are you here?
Spencer: Now see I had some good news for you. Leslie was right, that mouth of yours’s is out of control.
Roxanne: It’s not my mouth. I just have zero respect for you or Leslie. You’re a pimp and she was your hoe. How can I respect people like that? And to think you’re my long lost parents. Usually when a family is reunited they are happy. Not this time. I was disappointed and embarrassed.
Spencer: You really are your own worst enemy.
Roxanne: No, that slut daughter of yours is the enemy.

Spencer can only just shake his head back and forth and wonder why his daughter has so much venom in her veins.

Spencer: Where does it come from?

Brown Stone Apartments. Lauren’s place.

Gloria looks at Lauren with big eyes.

Gloria: I loved John Abbott very much Lauren! I had no idea Keemo was his grandson!
Lauren: What kind of love allows you to date your deceased’s husband grandson Gloria? And you want to stand here and tell me about my relationship with your son?
Gloria: Of course. Michael is my son and I’m very worried about him. I’ve never seen him so lost.
Lauren: Michael should have thought of all of that before he became a bitch boy for Victor Newman.
Gloria: Stop calling him that! Michael is a good man who takes care of his family. You can’t say that about a lot of men these days.
Lauren: A lot of men don’t become bitch boys either do they Gloria? Look I really think its best you leave. I am divorcing Michael Baldwin and suing for custody, sole custody of Fenmore. No one will change my mind.
Gloria: So you’re going to throw everything you and Michael built up all these years away?
Lauren: I didn’t do that Michael did when he put Victor first!
Gloria: You have really changed Lauren.
Lauren: Have a good day Gloria. You have your own issues you need to deal with.

Lauren opens the door and motions Gloria to leave.
Gloria shakes her head at Lauren and leaves her apt. Lauren closes the door.

Gloria: Oh Michael I tried. I really did. Lauren is really going to go ahead with this divorce and custody battle. I won’t give up though. I will find a way to save your family.

She pulls out her cell phone and notices 4 missed calls from Keemo. She thinks of him and then of what Lauren said to her: She’s in love with her deceased husband’s grandson.
Gloria takes a deep breath and then leaves Brownstone Apartments.

No Name Tower, 24 floor, House of Kem

Victor is smiling from ear to ear as he basks in the recruitment of Jack’s son Keemo to his side in the war against Jack.

Victor: You made the right decision.
Keemo: I usually try to make them all the time. So tell me Mr. Newman, what do we need to do? Do we have a plan to take out  Jack?
Victor: I do. I am going to hit Jack from all angles. But there is one problem.
Keemo: Problem is a word not in my vocabulary.
Victor: I like that.  Let’s say… a minor detail then?
Keemo: Which is?
Victor: Your father has all my assets. I have no money, not even a place to lay my head. I have nothing Keemo. I need money to get on my feet and get Jack back. I can’t get my revenge without any money. Your jack ass father has it all.

Keemo leans back in his chair and takes a deep breath.

Keemo: Money.
Victor: A lot of it my boy.
Keemo: Mr. Newman as you know I am just starting up my fashion house. It’s designed to put a dent into Jabot. I have loans out for this new business venture. I really don’t feel entirely too comfortable loaning any money out right now.
Victor: I am Victor Newman.
Keemo: I don’t have money like that.
Victor: Do you know how any of this makes me feel? Me, Victor Newman begging for a loan. This is what your jack ass father did to me. With or without you Keemo, I will get back my power, my respect, my family and my empire back. I just need a helping hand right now. I have nothing.
Keemo: I understand Mr. Newman.

Keemo spins around in his chair and looks out the ground to ceiling window that overlooks Genoa City.

Keemo: Mr. Newman no cost is too high to take out my father Jack. Jack is an ass and he’s in the way of my happiness with Gloria and he has no respect for me.

He spins back around in his executive chair to face Victor.
Victor smiles.

Victor: You won’t regret this and this fashion house will be a major success,… we will see to that once we get Jack out of the way.
Keemo: I can wire or write a check for a million. To help you find a place and get back on your feet.
Victor: Cash please. I don’t have any means to cash a check these days. Jack has really did a number on me.
Keemo: Wow… Cash it is my friend. I’ll work on it and then give you a call to let you know when and where you can pick it up.
Victor: I really appreciate that. Our characters are already winning against Jack. Jack’s son is going to give me a startup loan to take out his own father who is the enemy at this point in my story. Check mate Jack Ass Abbott. I am going to crush his character!

Victor stands up with a broad smile as Keemo frowns up wondering why Victor is sounding so weird.

Victor: Will it be today? My character is tired and a little hungry.
Keemo pulls out 60 bucks from his wallet and slides it across his desk.
Keemo: Go get something nice to eat.
Victor looks down at the money, shocked that he has been reduced to charity.
Victor:  Thank you Keemo. Tell no other characters in Genoa City of this charity. It would make my character look so bad.
Keemo: I’ll be in touch Mr. Newman.
Victor: Good day.

Victor grabs the money and leaves HOK and therefore No Name Tower.
Keemo spins around in his chair to take in his view of the city and ponder a few thoughts.
Why does Victor get weird in his speech and the fact that he is helping Victor take out his own dad. Keemo thinks of the loyalty he should have to Jack since Jack is his father. But Keemo doesn’t feel loyalty from Jack’s end.  Keemo then wonders what his mother Luan would think of the situation that is developing. Father vs. Son co-starring Victor Newman.

City Jail
Roxanne: I don’t have venom in me. I just don’t like that slutty daughter of yours.
Spencer: I wish you wouldn’t address her like that. She is your half-sister and we are a family and we need to make this work.
Roxanne: I don’t need anything like that. I just need my Nate. But Hillary slept with him as soon as she hit town. That’s a hoe to me.
Spencer: They were together in college. They picked up right where they left off. How is that being a hoe?
Roxanne: I really like how you just keep defending her. What about me? I was going to have a singing career until you the pimp and my mother the college slut were exposed as my parents. Now that is ruined. My future is ruined thanks to my new found parents and yet you keep defending tramp ass Hillary. You seem to know a lot about hoes considering my mother was one of your hoes back in the day.
Spencer: That’s the part I don’t get, if you want or wanted Nate so much then why were you with Devon?
Roxanne: I love Devon. He’s special, kind and handsome. He’s… just… I don’t know, Nate just lights my fire. He turns me on. I was a little bored with Devon I guess. He didn’t deserve what I did to him but I never slept with Nate. I never betrayed Devon in that way. Nate and I held restraint yet when that tramp stamp Hillary hits town on the first night she had sex with him… It hurts.
Spencer: Roxanne this thing with Nate… your going have to let it go.
Roxanne: And let Hillary win? No! Nate and I have something real. We share so much. He was there for me and I was there for him.
Spencer: Hillary did win. She’s having Nate’s baby. She’s pregnant Roxanne!
Roxanne: No!

Roxanne feels sharp pains in her gut and heart.

Roxanne: No.

She says softly as she turns away from her father.

Roxanne: No…

Only this time with tear forming in her eyes.
